Sensors enable innovative prevention and personalized therapy
The COMPAMED Innovation Forum therefore addresses sensors for prevention and diagnostics this year. Preventive measures help to detect abnormalities in order to avoid diseases as best as possible or to detect them at a very early stage. Chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and asthma can be effectively monitored using modern sensors, so that deviations can be recognized quickly and the therapy can be adjusted in a targeted manner.
The international specialist forum will take place on June 12, 2023 as a digital event on the topic of “Sensor Technology for Prevention and Diagnostics”.

At this year’s COMPAMED Innovation Forum, leading international experts will show what modern sensor technology can do for the healthcare sector and how sensors can be successfully integrated into medical aids such as diagnostic or treatment devices. Furthermore, questions about reliability and long-term stability are addressed and discussed. After the lectures, there will be an opportunity to discuss opportunities and challenges for modern sensor technology in the healthcare system with manufacturers and users.
Outlook for COMPAMED: Smart sensor technology remains a hot topic
With the COMPAMED Innovation Forum, current medical technology topics are to be presented and discussed annually by industry experts in order to identify current challenges and solutions. The focus is on the dialogue between research, industry and medical practice. The lectures also provide an outlook on the trend topics at COMPAMED, which takes place in Düsseldorf every autumn. The IVAM Microtechnology Association organizes the digital forum in cooperation with Messe Düsseldorf.
